It's really disappointing when good design intentions do not meet users satisfactions. The main Building of Qatar University has been designed by Kamal El- Kafrawi, the known architect in 1973. The wind towers that dominated the design concept were supposed to work well. but unfortunately they filled all the offices, classrooms, and other spaces with dust. the architect has not considered some factors that led to such an efficiency, which ended up with closing them from inside by blocking them and using false ceilings in some buildings and in other by introducing stained glass inside the wind capture itself. It could be really a successful design if the architect did some more detailed study. At the end, it's the logo of Qatar university which could meet the requirements of sustainability and the users need.
